Negotiating can be scary.
But it doesn’t have to be.
We work hard to become valued team members, respected business owners, and contributors to our communities. But education and business environments often don’t prepare us for negotiating.
Those who stand to lose out the most: Womxn, Queer folk, BIPOC folk, people with disabilities, early career professionals, and social sector professionals.
Sophia leverages social science research to support you to negotiate higher and better salaries, benefits, severance, and service fees. You should be able to continue the work you do with pride while getting paid what you’re worth.

Content is rooted in evidence-based research on best practices. Participants learn why negotiation is important, how to do it well, and how to value their skillsets as an employee or their services as a business owner. Workshops can be in person or virtual, and customized to particular industries and career phases.
